Hi everyone:
Good Thursday Morning! December 4, 2008. It is a Day #5.
As we know December is a very busy month with a lot going on.
A few notes:
1. 1st Quarter Awards Assembly
We will hold our 1st quarter awards assembly tomorrow (Friday) 12/5 at 12:15pm in the AFES gym. Students will be receiving recognition for Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, Citizenship, PE, Music, and Art.
2. SRA Assembly
We will have an Student Recognition Award Assembly also on Friday 12/5. It will take place at 1:15pm immediately following the 1st quarter assembly in the AFES gym.
3. Dec. 9th – 3rd Grade will be going to the Keen Valley Neighborhood house to visit their pen pal/foster grandparents.
4. Dec. 9th – Combined Dress Rehearsal in the morning at the MHS.
5. Dec. 10th – Combined Concert with Keeseville Elementary at the MHS auditorium at 7:00pm.
6. Dec. 11th - Early Release Day – Dismissal at 12:00pm.
7. Dec. 11th – PTO meeting at 6:00pm Sharp. This is a change in time – earlier than normal because the building will close earlier that day and to allow people to get home earlier due to the busy holiday season.
8. Dec. 12th – Craft Day with Mrs. Teena Snow and the PTO
9. Dec. 15th – AFES Dress Rehearsal for the Holiday concert.
10. Dec. 16th – AFES Holiday Concert at 11:45am
11. Dec. 17th – Limo Lunch and Prize assembly in the for the PTO fall fundraiser
12. Dec. 18th – Grade 3 Cookie Exchange
13. Dec. 18th –Grade 1 Visits the Peru SPCA to deliver the “presents” collected for the animals.
14. Dec 19th – Last day of school for 2008! Have a great Christmas and an nice break. We will see students again on Jan. 5th.
